By the time the doctor comes in and out, you may realize that many of your questions have gone unanswered. All in all, you’ve spent 2-3 hours of your time for a quick 5-minute visit with a nephrologist who may have seemed distracted.

ADDITIONAL VIRTUAL MEDICAL CONSULTS
1- Review of Medical Records: If you need Dr. Rifai to review your medical records, then have a Virtual Consultation to explain to you, here is the fee schedule. (Dr. Rifai reviews the records, and discuss with you and answers all questions in a Virtual Consult)

For the initial 30 minutes…$200 will cover the first 50 pages. (minimum).

For the initial 60 minutes…$300 will cover the first 100 pages.

For each additional 30 minutes, it is $100 and provides up to additional 50 pages of medical records review and analysis.

The Virtual Consultation Rates will also apply and will be added to the review fees of the reviewing medical records and drafting a medical report.

These rates apply to patients and families ONLY who want to understand about the medical conditions.
Payment is expected in advance.
2- Medical Records Analysis and Recommendations Reports: Depending on the complexity of the report, the final report may utilize face-to-face time, review of medical records time and then dedicated time to draft the report. The report will include a medical opinion of Dr. Rifai with medical recommendations. Here is the fee schedule. (Dr. Rifai reviews the records, and discuss with you and answers all questions in a Virtual Consult, then drafts a medical report with medical recommendations and provides to you)

Minimum of 60 minutes is $300 for a minimum of 100 pages review.

For each additional 30 minutes…$100 will cover each additional 50 pages of medical records to review.

Drafting a typed report, analysis and medical recommendations is $500 and a minimum of 60 minutes.
